The aim of the Village Centre project is to provide a new Community Centre for the people of Sutton-on-Trent. This will involve fundraising via grant applications, sponsorships and local fundraising events. We already have donations from the Parish Council to start us on our way to achieving our goal.

The Village Centre Committee has many members with two sub-committee groups for buildings and funding.
The funding committee is currently exploring avenues for grants and setting the wheels in motion to raise an estimated one to one and a half million pounds for this project.
The building committee are currently undergoing negotiations with landowners to find a location for the new centre. They are also beginning consultations with a newly appointed architect.
